Mighty Oak Evaluation

Branding ❋ Website Design

We designed the brand identity and developed a custom Squarespace website for this public health research consultant.

Brand Strategy:

Mighty Oak Evaluation had been in business for a few years, but to set the foundation for a new stage of growth we first needed to understand how to position its services for its ideal clients.

We first dug into brand strategy, defining the brand’s target audience, researching the competitive landscape, and clarifying its positioning.

Brand Identity:

Mighty Oak’s brand identity was inspired by vintage children’s book illustrations, letterpress printing, and fall days in New England.

With this vision in mind, we selected a brand color palette & typography system that reflected warmth, trust, wisdom, and growth.

Benthic Studio then used this new brand identity to create a beautiful logo inspired by vintage stamps, featuring hand-drawn oak leaf & acorn illustrations.

Website Design:

To prepare for the website, we first organized all of the important information about Mighty Oak—its services, target clientele, and mission & values—into a clear outline.

Then, we applied the new brand identity to design a website that evokes the brand’s nostalgic, wise aura.

We developed the one-page website in Squarespace. The website reveals Mighty Oak’s story as the user scrolls downthe page, inviting their ideal client to reach out to learn more.

Working with Patricia on my small business website and logo redesign was the best decision I could have made.

Patricia’s creative genius is complemented beautifully by her keen sense of order, organization, and attention to detail.

Through careful questioning and patient exploration, Patricia transformed my vague initial ideas into a stunning and impactful final product. I recommend her highly.
