  • Thoughtful site structure and on-page setup using SEO best practices — from strategic use of headers and metadata to clean navigation and image optimization — ensuring your site is built for visibility and long-term growth.

  • Your new site is designed to grow with you. At the end of our project, we’ll meet for a live training call to teach you how to edit & maintain your site.

    For 2 weeks following handoff you’ll have access to 1 hour of development support to handle any final tweaks and handle any questions that arise as you start using your site.

Brand Seedling is a collaborative process that blends strategy with self-expression.

As a solopreneur, your brand is personal.

This process invites you to look inward to clarify the values, voice, and vision behind your work—then apply proven strategy to create an effective brand.

By the end, you’ll have a foundational brand and website that give you the clarity and confidence to show up now, plus the flexibility to grow with you.

  • Once you sign your contract and submit your deposit, we’ll officially lock in your project schedule and schedule your kickoff call!

    Before we get started, you’ll complete:

    • A Brand Strategy Worksheet to clarify your business goals, audience, and voice

    • Upload your website imagery and inspiration links

  • We’ll start with a live strategy session to refine your brand foundation — clarifying your messaging, visual direction, and website structure before design begins.

    You’ll receive a Brand Strategy Foundations document outlining your goals, audience, values, and positioning.

    You’ll also receive a custom copywriting template to guide your website draft. Once you’ve written your first version, we’ll collaborate to refine your copy — ensuring it’s cohesive, aligned, and ready for design.

  • This is where your vision begins to come to life! I’ll translate your brand strategy into a cohesive visual identity and homepage design mockup.

    We’ll collaborate on feedback and refinements to ensure your brand and website feel aligned with your goals and resonates with your audience before moving into development.

  • Your approved design is brought to life in Squarespace, complete with custom styling, animations, and integrations as needed.

    I’ll handle mobile responsiveness and SEO best practices to create a polished, high-performing site that reflects your brand at its best.

  • For 2 weeks after I hand off your new site, you’ll have access to up to 2 hours of development support to troubleshoot, make small tweaks, or smooth out anything that comes up as you settle in.

    Quick questions (“Where was that Squarespace setting again?”) are always welcome, even long after our support phase ends!

  • I’ve been using Squarespace is exclusively for 4 reasons: 

    1. It’s relatively easy to learn even if you have no website design knowledge. Squarespace makes it easy for you to maintain your website and add/edit new pages without our support.

    2. Squarespace allows developers (that’s me!) to customize their platform in fun & exciting ways — giving you a completely unique website that’s still easy to manage.

    3. The platform is constantly evolving and adding cool new features that allow you to keep your website fresh.

    4. It’s affordable! A custom Squarespace website will run you only about $270 for a whole year. (And you get a 20% discount on your first year through me!)

    I don’t have plans to explore other platforms at this time.

  • Most projects require at least a 2 week notice to get started depending on my current client schedule. During busy periods we may book out up to 2 months in advance.

    Project length varies depending on which offer you’re interested in, so plan to reach out at least 2 months before you’d like to get started.

    To lock in your project start date we’ll need a signed contract and deposit payment.

  • I’ll send you materials prior to kick-off that will help you get everything in order, but here’s what you should be prepared to provide or at least be able to think about:

    • Insight into your business’s mission, values, services, and identity, as well as an understanding of what sets you apart from competitors

    • Clear description of your target audience(s)

    • A list or Pinterest board of website/brand inspiration

    • A preliminary idea of the content you need on your website

    • Website imagery

    • Clear mental space to devote to deep thinking during our Strategy phase and providing clear, direct feedback (within 2-3 business days) during our Design phase.

  • The short answer is yes, you’ll at least need to be able to write a rough draft of the words that will appear on your website.

    A first draft is required from you because in order for the website to be in your voice, we need to start with your voice. But, I’ll help you out by providing a structure for what you should say and where.

    And once your first draft is complete, I’ll be copyediting for messaging clarity, flow, and effectiveness. So you’re definitely not doing it all alone!

  • Yes! If you want a logo, we can definitely add it on to your project.

    Whether or not you need one is something we can discuss during our initial consultation call.

    I often steer away solopreneurs who are just starting out from investing in a logo right away, because it’s not a small investment and so much of your business changes within the first couple of years. But if your business has an established foundation and/or you have a clear need (e.g. if you need signage) then it’s a smart investment.

  • Brand photography is ideal to really make your website feel like your own.

    If you’re located in LA, we can provide brand photography for you as a project add-on!

    If you’re outside of LA or prefer to find your own photographer, we’re happy to provide guidance on a successful brand photoshoot.

    Otherwise, you’ll want to have at least a headshot. Without brand photography, we’ll rely on non-generic stock imagery, shapes, and textures to demonstrate your brand visually.

  • We’ll start with 6 — usually Home, About, Services, Contact, and perhaps a blog or additional Services pages.

    We can absolutely add on additional pages if there’s a need.

    We’ll discuss what makes the most sense for you during your consultation call.

  • We’ll schedule two 60-90 minute calls to kick off and close our project.

    Other than that we’ll largely communicate virtually, but additional calls can be scheduled as needed.

    Your detailed feedback on each deliverable is due within 2-3 business days.

    It’s a good idea to make sure you have the time and mental space to devote to a website redesign before we begin. Budget a couple of hours a week, and expect a heavier load in the first few weeks and during prep work as you fill out worksheets and draft your website copy.

  • That depends on 1) what’s included in your project, and 2) how timely you are delivering feedback.

    Most projects take about 6-8 weeks.

  • I design your website intentionally so it’s easy for you to update on your own without relying on developer support.

    To make sure you feel confident, I close each project with a 1:1 live training for your website. I also include support time just in case something comes up after launch.

    If you do wind up needing help a bit further down the line, reach out! I’m happy to provide development support on an hourly basis.
